I think it’s shame that some people out there think that the Alternative Fashions, that are most commonly seen on white people, has no place in the Black community. Well I’m here to tell my Darker skinned girls who want to do this, that there IS a place for you. Don’t let anyone tell you any different. :)
Also, I am aware that there are rules as to what a Lolita is, and what she can and can’t wear; however, as we all know, rules sometimes can be broken. Not every picture will be exactly Lolita or Gothic, some will just have certain aesthetics that I think would look good with the fashion. Be creative, be unique, be you.

I’m willing to bet the person who wrote this secret is under the age of 25. I’d say a better bet would be 21 and under.
I don’t know why, but younger people seem to have some weird misconception that when you turn a certain age your personality and ways of thinking suddenly change. Like, your 28th birthday comes and suddenly you have to give up everything you love and trade it for a stereo typical “tv mom” lifestyle.
There’s no age where you suddenly go into a store and think “Hey, pleated pants with elastic for comfort and beige “SASS” granny shoes would look mighty nice! I’m so and so age now so I guess I better start dressing like this.”
I hate to be a “old fart” and tell you “you’ll understand when you’re older” but seriously… you will. When you’re 30 and you have little 17 year old telling you you shouldn’t wear something because it makes “them” feel uncomfortable you’ll have the maturity to know that this is a “them” issue not a “you” issue.
Preach it.
Someone’s mom helped out with the 2011 Midwest Megameet in Chicago and she looked adorable in a mint and brown sweet/classic outfit of her daughter’s.I’m 32, deal with it. I’ll stop when I WANT TO STOP!

I’m not gonna lie, the art work is beautiful, and it’s entertaining and touching at points.
But this underlying brother/sister complex is very uncomfortable to watch. All this sexual tension disguised as just your every day family relationship. Maybe I just don’t get it cause I didn’t grow up with any of my brothers.
But I relate to Kyousuke soooo much though. Every time his sister pulls that bitchassness, I’m reminded so strongly of my own sister and I get so heated. I’m like ‘ooooh my nigga, I know that feel!’
